allright sounds good, i sent the company an email asking me to send me the WC 21-96 and WC 22-96 samples, hopefully they will comply . If so I'll let you know!

Also i didnt fully understand what is holding them in? are they riveted in??? or is it just clips and friction?

Phil, they are only held in by friction. And yes that metal clip was used to keep the window channels firmly in place along the front edge of the window on ventless cars. That clip is riveted onto the channel weatherstripping and depending on the fit of the "new" ones we discovered you may want to re-install it onto them. You can also use a dab of silicone on the back side to also keep it in place if it is loose.

wc 21 96 fits like crap but I am going to make it work. It is too small on all dimensions. Just a heads up.

                  I forsee myslef preforming what:

Okay I am going to be returning WC 21-96 in exchange for WC 33-96. I already have a sample of WC 33-96 and it was pretty snug in the vent window frame BUT it fit perfectly in the rest of the window channel so I will just order that one and be happy rather than make this shit work.

Any problems getting that stuff in the vent window side of the window seal?

It was just a tighter fit than the rest of the door frame. I only have a 4 inch or so sample to make these claims......but I rather have it tighter than loose, and the WC 21-96 was loose as hell.

Here are some pictures of WC 33-96 Installed in my old window frame. You can see it fits great and just about looks identical to the original stuff. It is a nice snug fit too, which will be even snugger in the vent window channel frame.

Guys I think we found the one.
