If it weren't for the dent and few spots of rot it might not be so bad. She's a Sig Series so not a poverty model but looks to be a base Sig. No digidash on a Mark kills it for me though...

      I'd summer DD it.
Notice that sticker on the air cleaner lid, Derek? Same one on the '86 and some '87 SEFI box air cleaner lids we've seen in the car. That's what I was talking about that sticker being a leftover from previous years, with the rounded shape to fit that lid perfectly but look out of place on an SEFI lid.

My '85 had a similar sticker, although I don't think they're exactly the same text wise '86 & up. I did slam one on my '88's lid as I liked the look of it. I still have my original lid should I get tired of looking at it.

Looks like a good car. Parts are near impossible to find so I guess it’s pretty important to find a good one to start with. Almost certain the 429 would have been standard. It was in the Marquis line that year.

I really like this base Mercury Monterey. 351 was standard. Hope it gets a good home. Pretty rare to find. It would be like the Ford Custom. Lowest on the line of the big models.

Yeah really nice. I've never seen one of them before. Too BASE for me but I'd entertain a loaded two door..

Yessir, they sold a jillion of these in the U.K. before they ever tried it out here. It's a Ford Sierra. They had a couple different bodystyles, this one I think was reserved for the XR4i Cosworth, which are pretty badass little machines. Check out youtube type in Ford Sierra Cosworth for some cool shit.

Here's that 6-door Ambruster Stageway Limo (3 bench seats, front is the split bench, no interior photos). This or one exactly like it was sold for between $3-4k years back, so looks like someone's trying to flip it. https://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto...766469050.html

This guy ruined an '87, (maybe inherited it and is trying to get some money out of it). Claimed MINT '87 LTD, 351 replaced with a 302 crate motor from ford. Which only got 5k miles on it over the past 13 years. >_< That thing is going to leak like a sieve, no rubber bits/hoses are going to hold fluids for long. The suspension is going to disintegrate FFS. $5k asking https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/...771082493.html

Curious how he got the egr spacer to hold the throttle bits in place?

BBK makes '93-'95 lightning EGR spacers and throttle bodies. Probably what he used.
