Mystery Square Hole Above the Clock

    Hi All,

In my 1991 Marquis, right above the LED clock, is a square hole at the underside of the dash top.

I stuck my finger in there and found nothing.

Why is it there? Any answers?

    Thanks,
    91gmblack

Yeah, I'd guess air intake for an auto temperature climate control system. The Towncar has one over above the glove box. Is it about 1 1/4" wide and about 3/8" tall? If so its prolly the sensor opening.

it has a sensor in it that operates your auto fan speed setting.
