want to lift 00 merc 5-7 inches....but not with rims

i was wondering how big of an all terrain tire i could fit on my grand marq? i feel like doing something different, and the 7" lift with shocks is only $269.


anyone help me out? or have any pics?

if that lift is so people can fit 28s under a car i would not use one of them on the street let alone off road. Your best bet will be longer springs. I velieve mid 80s cadillac fleetwood springs will work (be sure to get the heavy duty ones. also F-150 springs might work up front.

you can only lift a car so much before you have to start making dropped brackets for the suspension pick up points

There is a guy on CVN that has bigger all terrains on his aero. I think his username is tijuanataxi. You may want to get in touch with him for what he used to lift his vic.
