Remove brake fluid until reservoir is half full. How?

I want to inspect the caliper and piston of the front brakes.
The instructions start with:
"Remove brake fluid until reservoir is half full. "

How do I do that?

ive used a straw before, brake fluid is not half bad, you might shit the bed though

You could also bleed the brakes until the level goes down.

bleed the brakes or use a turkey baster to suck fluid out of the master cyl

you can use a clean lint free rag, like you would a paper towel.

ive dont that before too, the injector needles for turkeys are cool.
