People tell me it sounds like a 4wd. So I guess so.

After I sliced my front driver-side tire on a broken beer bottle in my friend's lawn on Satuday after the foorball game, and the hole although small didin't seal properly with the spray can stuff, I'm now officially pissed at all passenger tires. My next set will be LT235/75-15, with offroad thread - I take the car off the pavement enough to justify it, and winter is coming too.

Sure you can, just use the frame from an 4x4 F150 without any lift. It's in my plans for the future, though not for this car.

Too damn hard to put on a truck frame. Frame rails arent even close to matching up. You dont need 4wd in these things anyway. Trust me. And 31's will fit on the back stock people. I think I started something.

I think it would be bad ass to see a tractor pullin wagon, with exhaust threw the hood, one hell of a rake and some monster ass meaty tires just spinnin and slingin mud pullin a tractor..... that would be bad ass

Frame rails wouldn't be an issue to me, fabbing new crossmembers isn't hard at all - at work we cut frames apart and make testing fixtures out of them, you'' be surprised how easy that kinda of work actually is. All it takes is a band saw or a powerful angle grinder, a MIG welder, and plenty of 2x2 and 2x4 square steel tubing. Expect about 5-6" lift at the body mounts, which will help you clear the big wheels anyways.

Question: will 29" wheels fit the front without rubbing?

They rub at full lock. On stock wheels you shouldnt have any sheetmetal issues though. Problem with the car body on truck frame is supporting the body while getting it on the truck frame. Trust me with good tires you DONT need 4wd. I go everywhere a tj on 33's can.

Ya, I plan on running 29" studded mudders on stock turbines, will throw some full spool and a set of 4.10s while I'm at it - highway driving will be alright (noise is not a concern), offroading will be a total blast, only disadvantage will be spinning one wheel slightly when turning in small radius, but oh well

Car on truck frame - you support the body the same way you do when doing a frame-off restoration, IIRC one of the members here, 351 Lincoln, currently has his car in body and frame separated.

No. It was raining tonight. Will do tommorow. 4.10's is excessive. I can spin both my tires on dry pavement with a 3.08 gear.

About the exhaust, that's the exact setup I have on mine. I love the sound when ya get on it, and it's pretty mild at idle. Perfect for idling around town and then smoking the hondas at the light, hehe.
