Choke

Ok ok, im not sure wheater to put this in CFI or here... but ima put it here )


Ok on my Ideal deal, where it ideals to high when it's cold i have figured out what is actualy going on... But i cant fiogure out how to fix it


Any how on my Choke.. Theres a Arm with Teeth, when the trany is in park and gas is applied it will go up a tooth and the RPM's go up. but it will not go down without me actualy making it go down.. Unless i turn the car back off and wait 30 min's


Any idea of how i can fix this? Also there is a arm behind this like a Pull arm that can go in and out of something. Does it have anything to do with this..?

yes - that "pull arm" is the choke pulloff - if working right its supposed to pull off the choke when the VOTM in activated since they share the same vacuum line. (mine doesnt work either)

Have you tried tapping the gas pedal to get the choke off? that works for me. Of course after it worms up a little.

hhmm... your choke heater might not be working. There should be a electric wire attached to the hockey puck looking part of it, thats the thermo coil thingy.
Do you have this wire there?

I have seen no wire connected to the hocky stick thing :-/ but i will check! to be sure )
