Is there a underdrive pulley kit available for these cars? All I can find is kits for the mustangs, which are a single belt set-up. If theres none directly made for our cars, is there another kit that would be interchangeable?

When you change that crank pulley, is the size decreased so much that you can no longer use the stock belts? Or is there enough play left over to adjust the extra slack outta the belts?sigpicVic Videos Here http://www.grandmarq.net/vb/showthre...676#post243676

Thats not that bad. And they kinda got ya by the nutz if they are the only manufacturer of a pulley specific for our cars. I'd rather spend that and get new belts then screw around with a comple mustang accessory change-over. If i switch to that pulley, what belts should I be lookin at gettinsigpicVic Videos Here http://www.grandmarq.net/vb/showthre...676#post243676

On a non-HO, probably not much. And yeah, for HO engines it's because fo the much higher RPM that they reach. I blew every single hose off my old car, melted alternators, and bent alternator fins because of over revving the accessories.Builder/Owner of Badass Panther Wagons
