Just don't make it irreversible. Never know if the car will fail (maybe for a visual). If the car is in good condition it should have no issue passing.

LOL, have you even looked at your car man? The alt and PS use the further out pulley....Sure you can space it out-need about a 2-3inch spacer. Get someone to machine you a nice billet chunk of aluminum-which would cost about the same as the ASP underdrive...

Capridrifter...All of my cars have passed w/o the smog pump. As stated, the smog pumps is really just for getting the cat going quicker.

If it passes with out it on that would be SWEET ... That would be even more weight off of the car and more horse power and thats always good

Well the pulley is held there by what, 4 bolts? Can't it be spaced out somehow?

No, as Blaze already stated. Mustang pullies are are closer to the block than the panthers.

So, that means what - does the Mustang crank pulley work with the Panther accessories on the driver side?

I have a friend with a '92 Mustang GT, will try to measure it for you some time next week. It's such a clutter under that hood tho, pain in the ass to get to anything.

Look into the trucks & vans too, I know our old 96' F150 had a set of under drive pulleys on it.

Well for starters Mustangs use only one belt, so if installed in a Panther their UD crank pulley will only turn half of your accessories. Since you don't have a smog pump and you obviously don't care about the A/C you should be able to run a Mustang pulley, I'm pretty sure it'll line up with the alternator and the water and PS pumps.
