LOL, have you even looked at your car man? The alt and PS use the further out pulley....Sure you can space it out-need about a 2-3inch spacer. Get someone to machine you a nice billet chunk of aluminum-which would cost about the same as the ASP underdrive...
Capridrifter...All of my cars have passed w/o the smog pump. As stated, the smog pumps is really just for getting the cat going quicker.

Guest repliedWell the pulley is held there by what, 4 bolts? Can't it be spaced out somehow?

No, as Blaze already stated. Mustang pullies are are closer to the block than the panthers.

Guest repliedOriginally posted by Blaze86VicAre yous sure about that? I would want to verify that before I spend the money. I am not sure about 93 back Mustangs, but the 94-95 crank pully is closer to the engine than even the back pully is on our cars.

Get an electric smog pump. And the smog pump actualy will not effect sensor tests. The smog pump only causes the CATs to start working sooner. And since all emissions test are required to be run on a warm car, it will still pass without it. Unless they do a vidual inspection. But if you get an electric one you don't have any worries.

Look into the trucks & vans too, I know our old 96' F150 had a set of under drive pulleys on it.

Guest repliedOriginally posted by 89LincolnTWNcarI have an HO with a non-functional AC, so I only run 1 belt right now. I guess I'm a prime candidate for one of these. Will it free up any power/ allow the car to rev easier? Also I was wondering why a Mustang 5.0 Underdrive crank pulley wouldn't work on our cars?
