    Stating the obvious.

But I'm not really keen on buying electronics off ebay... I am full aware of how/where to find everything, up to a year ago I had EVERYTHING sitting in my barn-including a stack of T-5's pedal assemblies, and everything else you could think of.

I need to pay off some CC's and then worry about the car. I've been considering a TwEECer to do the tuning on the car. Still gonna cost at least another 700 bucks for the tweecer and a wide band 02. Washed the car and tossed a cover on it. It can wait.

Its not gonna be stock, i have a 5.0 roller in the garage thats getting rebuilt. Basicly it will be an HO short block. Gonna get a set of P heads or used TFS heads or I might try the cheapy procomps (people say they aint too bad). For a cam, I'm not too sure what would be best for me at the moment but I might use a E-303 cam.

For the intake I dont know what would be the best in cost and power, but I have been looking into those probe EFI spyder intakes and elbows, either that or a performer efi or something simmilar. I was gonna do a JY Twin setup, and I still might but I thought a single might be easier to make the cold side.

I'm gonna make my own single turbo setup. Hence the MS, so I can keep the motor from detonating and blowing head gaskets left and right, and to keep the motor from genading. Theres also no MAF to deal with and I can tune the car with a laptop. I'm limited to 20psi of boost with MS but thats fine cause I'll probably never even come close to 20psi on a stock shortblock.

I abbreviated the hell outta this cause I dont have time to type nor do I want hijack the thread.

    BACK on topic...

I'm gonna try MS this winter. My tech teacher said he would help me solder the kit together. It looks really neat. I need to buy a laptop tho, but megatune is a simple program you can run on a windows 95 computer with no problem. So getting an old laptop cheap shouldnt be hard.

I'd run a 650 or 750 on the motor in the wagon...cost is pretty much the same.

What motor are you putting that 750cfm carb on?

I went the $125 ignition method and used an HEI distributor on my car...works great!

I got a used Weiand Action-Plus for $50, a used 600-cfm Holley for $65, and a Lokar kit for $60. That's about the extent of my conversion. I don't guess you can really call it a conversion since my car already had a carb, but can you really call a VV a carb? Early cars = teh win if you want to run a carb.

I bought my 6a box cheap from the trackside swapmeet, and my digital 6 for the new motor was $200 off ebay, $300+ new...you can get em cheaper. I have an RPM intake, 600cfm edelbrock, and duraspark dist that works fine if you wanna go with used parts

Did you say EFI 351? If your selling a set up for that then you may want to talk to nate cuz he was thinking about doing that on his vic.

Friend of mine has the MS....I've been thinking twEECer. Regardless, I'm out of cash and will not be able to do anything to the car for a couple months. Been getting a lot of calls from CC's about being over the limits. So, gonna move it and toss the cover on it until spring.

I know your into the old arcade games, so I figure you've worked on them - what about megasquirt? I want to see someone use it just b/c its interesting. You can cut the costs of the carb conversion by selling off the efi parts and using duraspark. Look for used stuff/ebay too.
