its all the way in the back under tucked under the firewall almost, easyiest way to spot it is to lay with your chest ontop of the upper intake and look down the back, is right behind the 2 rear upper intake bolts....the actual vac line runs under the upper manifold, its really not accessible without pulling the upper off.... I honestly never changed my pcv valve untill is past summer when I pulled my upper intake off to change my valve cover gaskets.... its not much to pull ur upper intake off, i can have it off the car in about 15mins... if your gonna use vaccum to clean ur intake, just use the brake booster line... if ya actually pull the upper off, carb cleaner and ur sisters toothbrush work great....1987 MGM 126K 2" True Duel flowmaster 40's 3" tipped exhuast, Tinted 20% all way round, individual bank A/F guages, tach.

If your gonna be changin the PCV valve, there is a screen filter underneath the pcv valve. Its a cylinder shape, bout inch long I'm guessing, and you can use some type of small metal hook to reach in and pull it out. Mine was rock hard packed with carbon, had to pull it apart, soak in carbon cleaning fluid, blow it out, and re-assemble the filter. Its a bitch to get out, a bitch to pull apart, and you will probably not get it back to exactly the original size it was before. I'm sure you could buy a new one from ford or somewhere else, but i never looked into it.sigpicVic Videos Here http://www.grandmarq.net/vb/showthre...676#post243676

I jammed my arm from the front of the intake and the other arm from the back and managed to get the PCV to replace it on my '87.1990 Country Squire - under restoration

You should really locate it and change the pcv valve, grommet and screen. Nobody does, and it makes the motor blow oil out because the system clogs and doesnt work properly anymore.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

advance stocks the pcv gromnet in the help section and they have that screen......they call it a crankcase breather filter......those 2 and a new pcv valve should run u about 14 bucks.......i strongly reccomend pulling the upper intake to get to it easier and to replace the map sensor vacuum hose and the hose to the canister purge valce while your in there, might also have to replace the pcv hoses, they get rock hard, you can use fuel line to replace them.....a new upper plenum gasket is around 6 bucks
