You won't be completely sure until you mount them and check them. Might still need shimming.

With the E cam you might want to check piston to valve clearance.

                yep, I know....
I'll be rebuilding the bottom end with pistons that will have more than enough clearance...

Yes...... They fit ANY pedestal mount 302/351W head. You would check lifter preload any time you have the rockers off of your engine to see where you are. Pushrods or shims is all it takes to make an adjustment.

Have you bought the rockers and cam yet and what cam are you installing them on?

no, I haven't go them yet, they're on the list.
I still plan to put in the E303 cam with those rockers.

You might wat to stick with the staoc ratio. It will increase your duration bt about 5 or 10* as well as increasing the lift. This could put you in the range of needing a torq converter and loss of low end only to gain a small amout of upper.

hmm...I already plan to get a 2000 stall converter...
but I see what you're saying...
I'll give it some serious thought...
I don't know if I'd spend about 170 bucks on 1.6 roller rockers...

I would be more apt to put 1.6 on the intake and 1.7s on the exhaust.
