i took the egr valce off of my 84 cv 351.........i built a blockoff plate out of a piece of steel and used an egr gasket to seal it up.........the car ran like a raped ape, and got a consistent 16 mpg.

you mean as far as performance goes? probably nothing. It would pump out more NOx but if the EGR system is working properly otherwise, doubtful much else would change.
