you can take those gauges out of the mounts i believe......then mount em in a pod, or in a custom console, or a 2 gauge bracket

I love the way that one dude's console looks. That's a project for when I'm feeling more ambitious (and the damn car is runnign again!) It sucks having 2 jobs plus school fulltime. I haven't even touched the merc for 2 or 3 days.

what you could always do later is make your own custom console.thats what i'm going to do. i'm going to buy 2 gauge cages tho and i'm going to have

    coolant temp, oil pressure, voltage
tach, tranny fuild temp, and oil temp

i'm going with blue digital gauges for ease of use. and if you go the custom console route, you can put in cupholders!

Hmmm, I'm trying to stay low-cost so I think I'll stay clear of the A-pillar pod thing. Besides... I'll probably melt that shit trying to make it fit. Then I'd probably destroy the guages in a fit of rage from the melted plastic stuck to my fingers. I might just go with the under-the-ashtry thing.

I'll wait and see if I get anymore suggestions.

is there a 3rd gauge? if not under the ashtray would prob work well. or you could remove them from their bezels and get a universal pillar pod. heat up the bezel to mold it to your a-pilar. if ya wanna go the pillar pod route, ppm Grimor. in his 88, he did a pillar pod setup

I didn't go for the typical 3-guage set. I found these new-old stock things on e-bay that were probably new when the car was. It's especially difficult to mount them due to the fact that they're each in thier own bezel. Any ideas?

    Here they are:
