Roller rockers and new injectors (half way donish)

Falling asleep so no grand story, half way though. Driver side is complelely done except for putting the VC on. Have passanger side VC off, and 2 valve springs are already replaced/ Rest is for tomorrow. Engjoy the pics. Feel free to ask any questions.

Yeppers, the valve covers cleaned up real good. All I did was wash them and spend about 5 minutes with a buffing wheel on a drill and some spray wax.

Are those taller than regular 302 covers? I want to know if my aluminum finned covers will clear, they have no baffles

These are the shortest valve covers money can buy for a 302. Even shorter than the 86-93 5.0Ls. They are 94-94 mustang GT stock valve covers. I hear the design was also on some T-bird 5.0Ls. The 94-95 cobra is identical in shape and dimension to these. The baffles are generaly what keeps a valve cover from supporting high ratios, though even though mine are very short, they were designed to clear 1.7 roller rockers. However, with these I have to be carefull what brand rocker I use, because a slight change in dimensions is enough to cause issues with these. That is why I used factory cobra rockers, yes the factor Cobra rocker was a 1.7 Crane Cams roller rocker.

BTW, the rockers are working great! The injectors I bought are SHIT! 4 dead on initial start. Had to swap one of my old ones in for one and the other 3 we beat on till they started working. However all of them that are working are not hitting worth a damn, and drop in and out. So I am ordering ne injectors now and going to install them ASAP. Sounds like this guy is willing to take them back. Lets hope so. I'll post more pic later.

what kind of injectors were those they look like the bosch's and is there any way to test if they are good?

They are Bosch injectors, and I don't know why people keep asking me to test them. Here is the best test in the worl, stick it on a car that is known 100% good and they don't work, now on top of that start tapping it and it intermitantly comes in and out of working.

The guy I bought them from is being an excelent Ebayer! He said that likely they siezed because of insufficient cleaning time. He is going to refund all cost plus cost of return shipping, and has appologized.
