Did some work on GMGT today...

That I have being lazy about.

First, I replaced my driver's side header gasket, and the header bolt that fell out towards the rear of the motor. This made a good sized difference in low end, and now I don't have that annoying ticking anymore!

Also, I adjusted the idle mixture a little, and set my idle. now it will idle around 8-900 rpm..

And, while I was at it, I adjusted my TV pressure up even more. It holds the gears high now, and allows for the shift fro 3-2 with only moderate pressure while cruising. I like it!

But, I found out today that my dipstick tube is broke off !!!!

Turns out, it's always been like that, and thats probably where a good deal of oily sludge that is all over my motor came from. Oh well, it will live for now, im sure.

The car is much more fun to drive now, and I can really feel the little bit of difference.

Haha. I remeber the open H pipe on my box. It was louder than my friends 70 challenger. Does mid 12s. It's got a s hot exahust so it's louder than it would be, it's got a shitty stall speed and a bunch of other little things wrong with it. Still runs 12s.

I can't wait to fix my valve covers and oil sensor. Than I shall no longer have any leaks. :-D!

Wonderful when you got something louder than a car that runs 12s...

            But runs 18s :yuck:

Haha. Well now it's no where near as loud with the mufflers. And I don't do 18s anymore.
