C4 is in.

Got my C4 installed installed today. with the 3000 stall, it flashes at about 2500 on the street. jumps to 3000, rises fast to 4000, shift, back to 3500, up to 4000, back to 3500, all in about 6 seconds. The car is going to be bad ass in the 1/8th. as for the 1/4 i might run out of RPM before i run out of track.

Apparently the C4 bellhousing bolts need to be shorter than the AODs by about 1/2". other than that went smooth. installed a bigger tranny cooler, going to install my old one also once i get it flushed out.

From the original post it sounds like it was shifting at 4000 rpm. Maybe that was part throttle.

I cant rev the motor over about 5200 due to massive valve float. I was shifting at around 4000 WOT. Later i was shifting at around 4500.

The only pic i have is a finished pic showing the pan and bellhousign under the car. I have another thread around with pics of the tranny.

cant even feel them, but they are instant. Id bet the shift is done by time i get the Pro-Stick into the detent fully.

What rear gears do you have in that thing? Maybe install something slightly taller so you don't run out of RPM quite so fast ?

3.55s. if i shift it a bit higher i can run for longer, but shifting at 4000 im only using about 1000rpm of the motor.

Yeaa...I'd say shift it at 5k and maybe go with 3.27's, that'll make the most of the engine's powerband.
