    Blaze isn't that far off...round trip you'd be looking at about $970 in gas costs.

      And lets hope his dieing tranny makes it all the way there......he gets limited to 2nd gear, and you kiss 10mpg good by.

          I went to Chicago and back averaging about 15 mpg. I'm at 15.8 now with a mix of highway and around town. Still annoys me that Tom's car is better on gas than mine is. I do use a lot less oil tho.

            Well, I tried this out today, I did the WOT till 55 then let off, I barely felt it go into third. Then, I turned around to go back home, I floored it until around 45, and it went into third pretty firmly.
