302 a little less power, a little more mileage.
351 a little more power, a little less mileage.
302 is already Sequential Electronic Fuel Injection.
351 is normaly carbed
Other than that about the same.

The engines are based on the same block, but have different dimensions.
The 302 has a 4in bore with a 3in stroke
The 351 has a 4in bore with a 3.5in stroke
To accomidate this, the 351 has a taller deck height, therefore making the engine taller and wider
Generally, 302's are a little less torquey down low, and can spin higher, where 351's are real stump pullers down low, but don't spin up as fast.
Also, due to the deck height, 351's need a wider lower intake manifold, although some EFI uppers are interchangeable.Nick
