1984 Mercury Grand Marquis 302 my vaccum line from firewall to hvac panel is disconnected. Can anyone send me a picture if its connected to an actuator or hvac control panel please and thank you.

If you have a loose line from the firewall, it might be the one that goes to the automatic park brake release. If there's no half moon shaped vacuum valve on the bottom of the steering shaft near the firewall, or only one line going from it to the actuator on the parking brake, the black line goes to the smaller barb on the valve. The other line from the firewall should go all the way to the HVAC controls. No line from the firewall should go to a vent actuator from the driver side. On the passenger side, there is a vacuum line for the recirc/vent that will keep the recirc closed if the thermal blower lockout is still working (mounted to the heater hoses just before the heater core and has a pair of vacuum lines going to it).
If it is the short line that's supposed to go to the brake release valve, you can just plug it if the valve is leaking to get through inspections.

those two coming off the top of the box are the ones for the thermal blower lockout (close the vent when engine cold and heater on until heater warms up).
The connector you found without any hoses plugged into it should have the entire cluster of HVAC hoses plugged into it. That's the pigtail to the HVAC controls. There should be a bundle of HVAC hoses with the female side of that connector. Without that plugged in, the vents shouldn't be doing anything.
