For the rear, take the 4 bolts out. For the front, take the 6 bolts out.

Rear uses 14 and 18mm, fronts are 15mm on the endlinks and 14 on the frame IIRC. Will need a breaker bar to get the rear bar off. It can be a PITA.

I got lucky and had most of my rear bars come off with normal sized tools. The very first one though (on my car now) was VERY hard to harvest and almost made me give up.
You will need at least deepwell sockets and/or wrenches, not just short sockets. You'll have to hold one end of the bolt while you turn the other, but once you get into a good position to wrench and have the right tools in place, the only hard part is putting some stank on it and not loosing your hold on the fasteners if you are in an awkward position.
Its easy with the wheels off and the ass up in the air, but as long as you dont find the donor car slam on the ground with the wheels off, its doable.

Also, I wouldnt bother with the front sway bar unless you just want practice replacing them.

Wow, your wagon came with a rear swaybar? I'm jealous ....

I thought all wagons came with a rear sway bar. Did they?

I really don't think either of mine did. The control arms have the lateral holes, which I assume was standard across the board, but I've seen no evidence of rear swaybars being mounted before I got the cars. The '79 is a beater with various questionable repairs (who puts a wrench under a too-short front coil spring?), so it might not be the best source of info, but the '87 was a decent $4000 used car when I got it in '97, so I think it was pretty original.
