I've been having some problems with the suspension and tires on my car lately. I have a bad vibration at certain speeds, mainly around 45 mph or higher. It also seems to get worse the longer the car is on the road and in warm weather.
The tires I put on in the front are new and have been balanced three times allready. They were balanced when they were put on last month, then I took them to walmart (had no choice) to get them balanced again. The rear tires needed to be balanced so I had them do all four tires. It worked for a little bit but the problem was still intermittent. Walmart ended up cutting the valve stem on the driver's side front tire putting on the wheel covers, so I brought the car back to them again yesterday. Drove it for 30 miles and I'm still having the same problems so far. I'm going to have the lug nuts retorqued tommorow, but I doubt it will help much.
I do have bad shocks in the rear, the rear end just sways up and down all over the place every time I hit a bump. The springs are original also and it bottoms out on certain driveways.
Is this bad wheel bearings, ball joints, or something else? My truck used to have similar problems and it had bad wheel bearings. I have also noticed that my front left tire is tilted a little bit inwards towards the hood and it makes some noise when I'm turning sometimes.
Its just really annoying since this car rides like shit during the day, but is smooth as glass on a cool night.
