    Spray Tint or Sticky Tint Film

    what is better to use if im tryin to darkin tail lights?

    Spray tint. That is what I used and it has been on for 2 years with now without any worries.

      is it hard with the spray? how many coats did you use?

        It is easy, just make sure you do light coats. I can't remember how many coats I put on, but just keep putting on coats till you get your desired darkness.

            Please post some pics when you get done, I'm interested to see how they look on a light color car. I'd like to do it to mine I think.

                  Yeah shoot some clear coat on there too. That is how mine are nice and glossy.

                        That is a old pic when it was totally smoked out. I used a desposible camera and scanner on that so it isn't very good quality but you kind of get it.


                        There that is really the only close up of them now with my digital camera. I first smoked them with the spray tint then at a later date I masked them off and painted them. The 3 slats are tinted though, you can see the reflection.
