The vast majority of Vinyl Repair kits are worthless. Your best bet is to have them professionally repaired. Is your top black? If so the color probalby will not match, black is nearly impossible to match dye for.


We do marine upholstery and do real vinyl repairs.

You might be able to try some of that stuff they make for dashpads. I don't know how well it would work though as dashpads aren't usually exposed to precipitation.

Got a couple of cracks in the vinyl top on the '91 GM. Is there any way to seal or repair them? I'd like to stop them before they spread any further.
