    '89 CV--Blacked out my grille on Sunday...opinions?

This is how I managed to kill a Sunday afternoon? I'd appreciate any opinions anyone has, and also any suggestions.

    Thanks!

Looks good But I'm with Zack it would be better without the bezels done. Great job either way.

Unfortunately, after I got done, I kind of felt the same way. It is growing on me, though, so give it a little time and maybe you'll think a little differently. Plus I think the grille needs a second coat. I see a few bare spots.

It seems a bit racoon-like, though, doesn't it?

Freshmeat told me the same thing, but I kind of like it this way. Now if I had one that was the previous bodystyle, like your wagon, I probably would do the whole thing. That looks really nice. With the 88-91 bodystyle, though, I feel like blackening the whole thing is just a little too much.

              No accounting for taste, though.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your opinion. I really do appreciate it. (And that goes for everybody!)

More black will help it out, its a bit unbalanced right now. I liked my car better with less chrom up front, but the inbetween stages was weird lookin.

Black out the insides of the bezels and you'll be good. Looks good so far man.
