    [/EDIT]

(not sure if this is the best forum for this, but did not really seam to fit anywhere else)

Post up you best time. Be prepared to show proof if someone calls BS.

My best so far is a 15.98 @ 90 with horrible traction.

Engine Info can be found in Here

    suspension:
Front: police coils with 1/2 coil removed. Carrera Street Stock shocks, Wagon sway bar, ENS endlinks.
Rear: cheap Gabriel shocks, "EE" springs.

Weight mods: No sound deadening, no insulation in the body, no back seat, No HVAC ducting, no carpet in trunk.

Battery relocated to trunk. 16 Gal. fuel cell in the trunk with stock tank removed.

*EDIT* new best for the 1/8th. 9.5 @ 74 thats good for a 14.8 1/4. Mods different from above are. 325/50R15 BFG Drag Radials, New carb, althought it is the same as the previous carb, still needs to be tuned. And 15deg of base timing, had 9 before.

    *edit#2*

This is a few months old, but 13.37 @99, thats with the GT-40 heads, a passenger, and the nitrous turning off 1000rpm early.

Competition engineering 90/10 shocks, stock sedan coils, no front sway bar. consistent 1.9X 60's except when i tried to spray out of the hole and went sideways.

I had my first taste of drag racing at Englishtown this year. It was pretty fun. It was a free event sponsored by the JDM guys.

Best time of the day: 15.771 @ 86.96 mph

I think I can squeeze a little more out of it if I softened up the rear. I left my car setup for autocrossing. I was so psyched to race that I forgot that I could adjust the shocks and tire pressure. I didn't do any burnouts either because I was planning on doing more autocrossing on the same tires.

I'll give it a few more tries next year but I don't think I can squeeze out any more without any major engine work. I might go somewhere for a dyno tune.

Well at SF06 I went down the track a staggering 2 times...and didn't make any real improvement over the last time I was at a strip, and this time I have a tricked out wide ratio transmission. Scott was sayin the elevation was probably the reason, I am getting the feeling my car is just gettin old.

But with my fastest 1/4et time yet, I have my slowest trap speed yet...

According to my explorist 600 GPS unit, the elevation was ~960ft above sea level. The temps were at least 80º, which im willing to bet was quite a bit warmer than your last times from November

if the times are close normally the lower e.t. will have the lower trap speed. since you get to the line sooner you have less time to accelerate. Watch some professional drag racing, something like pro-stock everyone is pretty much within .01 seconds of each other, the guy with the slower e.t. almost always traps higher.
