    Delayed lights

What is necessary to install those in a TC? I already got the headligth switch that has the knob for adjusting the delay time (and also the auto-dim feature, but I'm not dealing with that), and I'm pretty sure the harnesses are under the dash too, where is the control module located? I would not be surprised if that module operates the illuminated entry system too.

You need a dashpad with the hole for the sensor, too..

What sensor man, I'm not intsalling the auto-dim, and even if I were in TCs it doesn't go under the dashpad, but in the rearview mirror

The sensor that tells the headlights when to come on, if you're using the auto-delay.

Think we are talking about two different things - I want to have the feature that allows you to shut the car off and the lights stay on for a while. The sensor is needed for the auto-dim feature, it senses the glare from the on-coming vehicle's headlights and turns your high-beams off and the low-beams on. The auto-dim is a very nice feature, however in city traffic it's almost useless.

Ugh, yes we are talking about the same one. I'm also talking about the one that leaves the lights on for awhile after the car is off. There is a sensor under the dash pad, it senses daylight...so your lights come on automatically when it's darker outside.

Never seen a box TC with two sensors, they all got one right in front of the rearview mirror. The same sensor can indeed be found under the dash pad, but that's on later models, aeros and I assume whales. But hell, if necessary I'll install the whole thing too, as long as there is a harness for it somewhere in/under there. Thain, where the heck are you man?

I plan to rig in a small capacitor to simulate the interior light fade-out

BoxMan, there's no other freakin light sensor!

Pete, how are you going to wire up the capacitor, off the fuse panel under the dash?

Look at that. You see the lil round hole that looks like a speaker hole? Now tell me there ain't a fucking sensor under the dash.

                            Hi MelikeyStripperChicks

I am having a bad deja vu on this question

                            The delayed exit/autolamps are all the same circuit you can't have one without the other because the hi-lo beam relay grounds through the photcell amplifier (thing on the rear view mirror), you will need;

The main lighht switch with the autolamp/delayed exit timer control.
                            The autolamp dimmer switch.
                            The photcell amplifier
                            The day/night sensor.
                            The Hi-Lo beam relay
                            The autolamp relay.
                            All associated wiring.

You should allready have the flash to pass relay.

The illuminated entry is controlled by the keyless entry module a separate circuit.

                            Regards
