Probably have an easier time sewing them to the seats. I'm working on sewing a section of material over the gaping hole on my driver's side leather seat. Not going to look pretty but it will help keep the hole from getting bigger plus finding grey leather seats in great condition is near impossible. Use a curved needle to get the thread through the seat otherwise it won't go through, I tried allready with a regular needle.

I wouldn't imagine iron-on stuff would hold up too well on seats, and I really don't think it would adhere to velour too well. Lots of pleats and ripples in the seats too would make it very difficult to get a good smooth area for a transfer.
