Just a razor blade lolOriginally posted by Grand_Marquis_GTdid you use skizzers or an exactoknife to cut it?
...and no, Justin, it doesn't have a rainbow color to it. I think they sell it like that tho, if that's what you're into. :gay:

Looks nice, never been a huge fan or dimond plate. But still unique.

Thanks!
It's just vinyl decal stuff. Like a decal shop would use to cut a decal on. The stuff I got does have adhesive backing, they also sell some without I do believe. Also, it is smooth. The diamonds are etched into it, but not rasied in any way.

That looks awesome. Good work. Very creative. What kind of material is that? Does it have a stick-on backside?

Re-done dash trim in '88 GM.. **UPDATED**
I bought a roll of this vinyl diamond tread design stuff on ebay. I intended to cover all the wood inside the '88 GM. After doin this dash trim, it's a lot more of a pain around the edges and corners than I thought! So, I don't know if I'll do the door stuff or not yet.
Doesn't look too bad for a half asleep amateur job, if I have to say so myself. :P
I have it installed again, I'll get pics of it tomorrow maybe. I do have one question tho, the headlight knob...I put everything back together like it was but that part fits sloppy. I think it's out too far, but everything is like it should be, what gives?
