I was thinking about picking up a 84-86 three spoke mustang steering wheel but I dont know what kind of steering shaft my merk has. So, what does a 1991 hub look like? Im hoping for two flat spots.

Anyone know how to get the air bag out without it going off? I saw one on eBay that hadn't gone off, Im just wondering how they got it out.-Matt

Simply a matter of disconnecting the battery and waiting. Of course, you could be insane like me and unplug it with the battery hooked up.

Supposedley only screwing around near the shock sensors will make it blow up, but to be safe I'd probably unplug the connector under the dash before removing the airbag / steering wheel.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
