    Hey Crownvicman,
    I'm looking to do a 5.0 (fairly stout) swap to get rid of my knocking 4.6 with a broken oil pump in my '93 P71...can you provide some information as to what you used for mounts and oil pan to get your 289 to mount up to the '92 CV frame?...any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey crownvicman289. I just came across some of your threads and see that you have a 92 with a 5 spd and maf conversion. I've got a 87 town car with a h.o. swap, t5 swap, and a 93 mustang gt ecu. My question for you is if you know how many pins are in the engine/O2 HARNESS connector that you use? From what I read you modified a 90ltc harness correct? Here is a post from crownvic.net that I made detailing the dilemma. Just curious if you can help me identify any differences in panther ecm harnesses. Thanks.

1992 CVLX. 5.0 HO/GT40P/T5/3.73/trak-lok with bolt ons. 02 front CVPI setup, rear HPP setup, CVPI shocks around, F250 radiator, e-fans, and the power of 3G. 15.92@89mph, 2.4 60', 4700' elevation (5500' DA) with 3.08 open rear and the old oil chugging 289. RIP.
