Wasn't it you that told me "c clips are for grandma"?

I don't think that was me... I have run low 11s with C clips. I have seen C-clips fail and axles shoot out on Factory Stock 5-speed Mustangs "only" running 12s. Without a trans-brake I don't get too excited about them.

Yeah they tend to leak. All of the ones that scott ever did leaked after a while.

been over a year since the "repair bearing" aka spacer bearing was put on the passenger side of my 88. no issues.

The axle seals/ repair bearings on my white car leak as well.

Ed, does this mean you will be unable to attend, or do you have something else to drive?

I believe I will be coming this year. I will have my truck, because I think I will be bringing parts. I'd really like to bring the CS, because I know I'd set a new personal best time for the trip from my house to Scott's. But I don't want to fill it with parts, and I don't need to get pinched for speeding.

I won't have the white car, because there are still issues I am working out.

I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for F100 parts. ALWAYS.

I can serve as a ride to the junkyard, as the TDI seats a couple in relative comfort

The Cruiser's a couple hundred miles shy of 300K. I'm thinking Scotfest might be a good place to celebrate her birthday.

I will be scrambling to get something road worthy. I am kind of pissed that my 2002 has these issues I never planned for it to need this much work this soon.

But in all seriousness, bring the vic, people want to see it in person.
