Kind of neat to see someone who likes their Mercury better than their Mercedes. Most Americans I know would think it should be the other way around! Me, the only foreign cars I've driven at all are an '86 Prelude and an '05 Elantra, so I wouldn't know.

And I really like the brick street. Don't see that a lot out here in the midwestern USA except for one or two here and there. Are a lot of your streets still made of brick?

What the hell were they doing? Did they lose control of the bread cart?

Yes, we still have a lot of brickroads, especially in the older villages..
And the streets are actually too small for a full-size ( being Euro or US ) car, but that's just seen as a bonus when somebody is coming from the other way... they all just back-up

No, they didn't lost control, it was pushed by a gust of wind ( which is something completely different than passing gas.... ).
the shop-owner was very happy that I didn't have any damage ( listprice in Holland $190.000 ..............................)

Just so the fellas here understand, in Europe when if comes to numbers the . and , are swapped, so $190,000.00 in the USA is $190.000,00 in Europe.

Speaking of Holland and Germany, maybe you guys know why someone from Holland is called Dutch in English, which is very similar to Deutsche, which in turn is said to be German for someone from Germany?
