    For sale 79 BMW 633CSI nice but needs trans work

    A good friend's X died so she has to help clear his estate. It is in or around Beacon NY. I think a great deal could be had for the right person.

    1979 BMW 633CSI straight six, manual transmission. VIN: 5520134.
    Leather interior, power windows & mirrors, heat & A/C, Sony head unit for AM/FM
    radio and CD player. Odometer reading 88,xxx.
    Does not run. $3,000 (this is the apprised value) but any good offer will get it.
    Interior​ beginning to get moldy

    They pulled it from the storage garage to get some pics. Why they only did the rear I have no idea. The car is nice.

    I think thats L-Jet fuel injection?

      Rock auto shows it is fuel injected. could not get the pic to load.

      Vid of it running shows more body.

        That things cool... you said it doesn't run, did something happen to it after the video of it running was taken? Whats wrong with the trans?

          That is a BMW that I like.

          The video is fresh. That was the appraiser that said it does not run. I don't think he even tried to jump start it. Needed appraisal for the lawyers.

          Don't have any idea what is wrong with transmission. The X wife is not a car person. Like Sgt. Schultz, she knows nothing.
