So since you got that motor for basically free right? Why don't you just take your time and tinker with it until you want to put it in? Get it all re done and shined up/painted and then drop it in. I would go that route. Im just saying it's not like you spent a ton of money on it. Or if your concerned with it going in your DD, buy another vic with a shitty engine (there's a surplus around here) and work on that one maybe? Just some Ideas.

Usually when I see a cheap panther for sale either the frame is shot or the tranny is slipping. Still, that's not a bad idea. I actually was going to be getting an 83' MGM for next to nothing.....the garage it was in collapsed on it.......

I think I'm going to end up tinkering with this parts car again very soon. I've been getting lots of O/T thrown at me again lately though......but, my vacation time for May just got approved.

Yeah look at me, I thought "oh I will just do the HO swap" and now Im on the hunt for a cheap 351 block to build up over the course of 4-5yrs. It will take a shitload of time, but If I had nothing else to do I would just be spending the money on another car. So I figure Ill just keep my investments in one place. Sure I will have probably 2-3 times the blue book value of my car into the motor when Im done, But isn't that why its America?
