    Ebay heater hose restrictor.

    Don't even know what this fits but thought it was interesting as I had never seen one before.

    The Fox bodies use one of these in the heater core supply hose. Supposed to keep pressure down at high RPMs.

      I used one for a mustang in my 87 mgm. It was pretty much the same thing but yellow.

        I think mine is either a washer, or maybe I made one out of a piece of plastic that I drilled a hole in. I don't remember at this point.

        but yeah the cores can absolutely pop if you wind the engine up past stock. Done it in my own car, and I was a passenger in another during the first WOT pass after an engine swap. It truly sucks when suddenly the windshield is completely fogged at high speed.

          A proper sized socket and hose clamp do the same thing......

            sockets are more expensive than washers though.
