Maybe a mexico or canada model that had a different ornament at one time? Any pics of the gauge cluster to see if it's in miles or kilometers?

Hard to say. Has some good things going for it. '79, wagon, slicktop, woodgrain, 351/C4 (not that that matters much, all 140hp worth), very good condition from the pics.
