It's only a vacuum gauge. And if anything, it would help you stay out of poor. All you need to do is find where vacuum is the highest, and that's where you're using the least amount of fuel. Hense why after Good it says decelerate, since the engine makes it's greatest vacuum on deceleration. That's anywhere from 22+ inhg A pretty neat find nonetheless.

i know that john...i was simply referring to the fact that the fuel milage of my LTD sucks

Perfect, probably not - especially those ancient unit-body cars seemed to all be slightly different shapes. At the resto shop, my boss obtained a reproduction quarter for a '69 and it had to be sectioned in several places in order to fit. IIRC, he found a NOS piece for the other side and it went on with very little trouble.

I have changed just lenses. You smash the old one with a hammer and pull the remaining pieces and black gum adhesive from the channel in the chrome frame. Replacement lenses usually come with a new roll of gum adhesive.

Mine came out. The adhesive fell apart. One fell out when I shut the trunk. Those got siliconed in, they aren't coming out again.

I actually was able to remove a lens completely intact last night. I stuck the handle end of a screwdriver through the light socket holes in the back. Then I hit the screwdriver with a hammer working the lens in the four corners only. Eventually the lens separated from the gum adhesive.

Complete with lowpo slowness! Looks nice, though.

Full-bench FTL, though, and the Mustang wheel looks REALLY weird in there!
