'90 TC that was in storage apparently? 86k, white, doesn't say what the 'little' problems are, but look at that clean steering wheel & rust free door jambs! Air ride probably needs attention though. $2500 http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/4365386809.html

1982 Lincoln Towncar, guy says it needs engine work. But it could just be a bad VV carb, or the lopo knock, haven't asked personally, yet. Also needs tie rod end. But look at that gold bastard! Clean interior, $800 obo price, guy says it will go for scrap in about 5 days? Somebody may get a STEAL on this one. Girard, OH. http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/4390798068.html

I hate when people ask a certain amount of money for a car then say 'if not sold in a week it's going to the scrap yard'. Depending on the yard you won't get more than $500. Just sayin'. I see this on CL all the time.

With the amount of care put into that car, I doubt he would take it to a scrapyard. He is probably playing off the fact that some other car guy will see it as a classic and rush to "save" it.

Yeah, it may be a ploy to get someone horny and panicked to buy, but by playing the scrap card, (3906lbs or something like that) you're telling me your bottom dollar price is $20 over the $460 you'll get from the scrap yard. I may call on it as the deadline approaches, really the problem with the engine determines how much any offer would be, but OBO means he's supposedly willing to take less than $800!

If he's not being honest, fuck 'im!

There's always this: 2003 GM Ultimate with 95k http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/4382849146.html even if the asking is $3400, there's probably some wiggle-room. I mean, it doesn't say "firm."

Texted and emailed on the Town Car, no response. I'll call the actual dealership Monday off their number in the picture on the ad if need be. They listed it in 'by owner' section so there had better not be title fees!

82 Fake ad, pictures from dealership way back. Why the fuck would people do that? I use a secondary throwaway gmail acct for email and I can't see them selling my mobile phone number to marketers.
