I am officially a 4.6 owner now,

its actually 15 hp, and the powerband is much improved. a friend of mine did it on his 98 gt. i felt a noticeable increase in power from about 3k on up. i was particularly impressed with the high rpm power he gained.

you dont have to do it. performance is not what every panther owner is looking for anyway.

though with a 97 not being coil on plug (or so i believe it wasnt yet) the kit from Livernois would make swapping to a PI intake easy.

the 97 is just a daily driver, the only mods i plan on doing are handeling. I have the 85 with the 351 for performance

Those 351's were likely stock or not far from it. With some mods, that 351 will definitely kicks some ass.

it is .030 over, ported E7 heads, Crane powermax cam .484/.512, Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap, Mid-length headers, full MSD ignition, Aeromotive fuel system, Holley 600 carb, gear-drives, and i also have a 100 shot for it. and i removed several hundred pounds of extra weight out of it. Im shoooting for high 13's on motor and possibly a very low 13/ high 12
