Not sure if this is the correct forum.

I got an ‘01 MGM LS last month. I’m a ham op looking for ideas on how to do radio installs without crapping up the interior.

Any other hams out there with ideas?

I would make a console to fit on the hump. Mount your radio and the speaker in the console. Run your your wires neatly. I also have seen the ash tray removed and that space used for mounting. That gives you a little more room. No cutting, minimal drilling. I have even seen velcro used to hold the console in place to the carpet. If you drill in the floor, be VERY careful not to drill into the GAS Tank. I have seen that done before..
