      Could it be the way I gapped the spark plugs? or is this the main probability of my misfiring problem?

            If they were platinums you really shouldn't and don't need to gap them. And only if the gapping was retardedly off would it cause any problems.

                I still say its the boots. Damn COP design seems to give people the fits. Can't wash your engine like the older cars without trouble.
