Dunno why, but my Vic ran 17.19 stock with an open 3:08 and what looked like original plugs a crappy paper air filter, a bit of a crosswind and it was about 20*C outside. Guess my cars either a freak or I just got lucky that day. I'm by no means a good drag racer, maybe been down the track 15 times in my life. I was watchin the bracket racing with the street cars and it looked like fun, but between my 6 passes of the day there was over 2/10ths difference on a couple. Not very consistent. Seemed that I held the burnout a bit longer on my quickest pass, but I wasnt holding them long at all due to only one wheel spinning.
