    I got about a hundred bucks off of the price of my exhaust when I let them keep the cats.


    If you don't need them, why keep them? None of our cars are OBD-II and the computer won't care if the converters are gone or if their air pump is gone.

            I'm suprised you cant get a 'dirty inspection'. Numerous unworthy cars get around it where i live strictly because they know the right mechanic.
