How come nobody likes dropping in a 5.4 modular block? It's got way more torque...

The 5.4 won't fit without major mods to the engine bay.

Why go through the expense and re-engineering of the mechanical and electrical systems for an engine swap when supercharging and/or spraying is so much "easier"?

It seems like the OEM engines and 4R7xW trannies have been holding up pretty good to about 450 rwph or so. Unless you push past the physical limits of the cast internals with double digit boost levels and/or a crappy tune and wind up breaking something, the 32V 4.6L takes quite well to forced induction.

If running low 12's on mild boost makes me a cheater, then pin it on me.
