    i have a k & n...

    it is sitting in my tool box, in my garage


    i got it for free(panel filter), i'd use it; but i got sick of how it won't properly fit.

    2000 HPP Mods
    15.2 @ 89.13mph-1/4 mile
    9.73 @ 72.01mph-1/8 mile

      The only reason to use K&N in our cars is you can wash them and re use them. they do not add power, ok 1 rwhp.....whoopdee freakin doo. By the way they dont fit worth a shit either.

        the only benefit i can see to using a k&n is if its used on a dedicated drag car. in other words, a heavily modified engine that can benefit from the increased airflow, and won't be exposed to what a dd would be
        Save a seal, club a liberal.

                Man this blows, I've been running a K&N on my gravel road because I was afraid of the dust. Now I find out it's letting more gravel dust in :guns:

                    My engine is already fucked, don't know if I told you guys but she's getting ready to go. I've got a tappet tick that is getting really bad along with timing chain noise :cuss: I'm lookin for a 01 or newer to pull a few more ponies then I'll be the fastest muwhahaah....

                          Sorry TEXASVIC but I have K&N air filter and I have not problem with them,plus that's why K&N have a kit to clean and re-oil the filter.

                              i just cant justify the use of a k&n myself. not worth the money to gain .000001 hp and allow dirt and oily residue in.
