there's a technical name for those, but they're to reduce drone in the exhaust by cancelling the harmonics or something. No idea what they're really called.

Any idea where to get some designed for 2.5" pipes? I thought of trying to modify my old ones to fit, but I'm not real keen on cutting them up. Though with a welder and plasma cutter, it'd be real easy to make new ones. :p

The weights are called exhaust dampeners based on what I've read. From what I've noticed, they reduce rattle and vibration, though there should be two on there.

you got me. Maybe Impy SS parts but I think stock exhaust on those was 2 1/4".

There's a thought. If I fit everything up and file-dress it, a welding shop I've used before might be willing to do the actual welding for 20 bucks.

Great pics. Wow the rear suspension setup is really different from teh boxes, looks a bit easier to work on though.
