      Prices vary by location, so it's impossible to know what your local stores want for stuff without checking them ourselves.

      I don't get any discounts at AutoZone (other than occasional perks with my AutoZone card), but at least in my area they're normally one of the cheapest options when I need stock-ish hard parts, so it seems odd to hear someone not even considering them. Having a store just 2 miles from my house helps, too. Scott is a lot farther from his local AZ, but he spends a lot there, so they do give him a bit of a discount.

      Anyway, even though Summit is my usual option for performance junk, I've had lousy luck finding good prices there for normal replacement parts, so it's neat to hear that your experience has been different.
