    Are these shocks authentic?

So I bought motor craft (OEM) shock absorbers for my 01 MGM and the front and back shocks look nothing alike

    Do these look right?

Awesome, thank you! The different stickers and different colors threw me off!

Suppliers may be different, or production dates. Ford didn't make those, they got them manufactured to their spec by Monroe or whoever. If they say Japan, it may be Tokico. They were the OEM for quite a while.

I want to say the NOS ones I put on my car didn't even have Motorcraft stickers on them. Those are late 1980s vintage though.

My front motorcrafts were silver and the backs were white. Got some from rock auto once that were satin black with purple paint daubs. I guess assembly line leftovers. They have all been good shocks though.

Those look like shocks that someone slapped motorcraft stickers on IMO. I'm not parts expert though.

Is there a way to tell? Should I bring them to my local dealer?0

Looks like what I got from the dealers parts counter.
