            Quickest

"I am new to the forum so I was just woundering, who's the fastest Grand Marquis/Crownvic/Town Car on this forum?"

The quickest in the 1/4 are:
1)-Big Blue Tank...87 GM..claims to have gone 11.47 with a 347 and E'Brock heads. I personally saw it go 11.70 in 90+* air and near equal humidity.
            2)-Duce and Half...85 CV... with a 357 and a 100 shot of NOS, 13.37 at 103
            3)-My POS Colony Park...81 GM...302 all motor...13.95 at 96

Suppose to be a couple of dd in the Central Fla area that are NOS fed and are capable of mid 12s, but I have yet to substantiate that.

Not sure of any other 14sec. CV/GMs. All the others are mid 15s to mid 17s

Speed cost....how fast u wanna go??

It's not how much hp u have...
It's how much hp u can put to the track...

Let's seperate the men from the boys and put that power to the track using street tires and stock suspension components

'Tis infinately better to sit quietly and be thought a fool,
than to speak and remove all doubt.

I have a quick wagon. Never bothered drag racing it.

I still hold the record for the quickest lopo powered car. My 87 Crown Vic did 16.03

There are some quick marauders too.

There are a few guys on here that I'd like to know how quick they run... mainly Colin with his new motor. Waiting on some track times for Magna 302x.

I would love to know what MrLtd's wagon would run... that does interest the Murph...

I fear taking mine to the track. Last time I bothered it ran a staggering 17.85 at something mph. I think thats the record for the slowest N/A 5.0 HO with gears and exhaust. Its done a best of 17.2 at about 82ish. Its probably somewhere in the 16s now but I don't want to find out its not because I'd just be annoyed.
                      86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
5.0 HO, CompCams XE258,Scorpion 1.72 roller rockers, 3.55 K code rear, tow package, BHPerformance ported E7 heads, Tmoss Explorer intake, 65mm throttle body, Hedman 1 5/8" headers, 2.5" dual exhaust, ASP underdrive pulley

also Cowtown Cowboy has gone 12.x

mine was a 125 shot, but yeah. my last 1/8th mile run works out to a 12.94 1/4. i now have in a 150 shot, so that and the slicks (if i ever install them) and lighter wheels (if i ever buy them to mount the slicks) should be good for a solid 12. Thats on stock stroke and very mild factory early GT-40 heads

I hold the record for quickest N/A 5.0L HO, 3.55 geared, T-5 trans, beige 86 Crown Victoria, in the mid Atlantic region, with Hoosier slicks at Virginia International Raceway 3.27mile full course......though I have no idea what my best lap times are......but I'm pretty sure you won't find another N/A 5.0L HO, 3.55 geared, T-5 trans, beige 86 Crown Victoria, in the mid Atlantic region, with Hoosier slicks at VIR full course.

his will probalby be almost as quick as me. he has displacement over me and better heads, but ive got spray, a lighter car, a faster trans, and better suspension. his car will probalby kill on the big end of the track, mine runs out at about 5500 because of the cam.
